Chicken Sauce

Chicken sauce is just one method that you can employ to make your chicken meal a little bit special. Other ideas are to marinate the chicken or serve with a salsa. The combinations of marinades and salsa must go into the hundreds so that each time you serve chicken it can be different. Add this recipe for barbeque sauce to make your grilling even better. Ingredients

  • 3 cups ketchup
  • 1 cup minced onion
  • 1 cup dry red wine
  • 3 large garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 Tbsp ginger, grated
  • 2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 Tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp Tabasco sauce
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • black pepper to taste

Method

Combine all ingredients and simmer for 20 minutes. Cool and serve sauce on the side. The secret is to allow it to cool.
