Crockpot Recipes provide the ability to prepare a meal while you eat breakfast, put it in the slow cooker, switch on low and forget about it for the entire day. Multi-tasking at it's most flavorful.
Flavors from various parts of the world—the sweet and sour taste of Asia to the wholesome taste of Britain to the spiciness of Jamaica—are all represented here plus a few less exotic dishes for the less adventurous family members.
When you use the slow cooker, try not to remove the lid until at least half an hour before you are ready to serve. The meal is always better the longer the pot remains covered. The recipe relies upon the heat build, and y removing the lid, you extend cooking time due to heat loss.
Remove the lid and test the ingredients half an hour before serving time. If it requires more cooking, just switch it to high and replace the lid. If it's OK, just put the lid back on until you serve.
