Fudge Truffle Cheesecake

Fudge Truffle Cheesecake is much too tasty to be healthy, but it does make everybody happy. Make the portions a little smaller to ease your conscience. Submitted by David McCarthy, Australia


  • 2 cups chocolate chips (12oz or 340gm pkg)
  • 3 8oz (225gm) pkgs cream cheese, softened
  • 1 14oz can sweetened condensed milk
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 prepared chocolate cookie crumb crust (or see the crust instructions for the Chocolate Cheesecake recipe)


Heat oven to 325F (160C).

Place chocolate chips in a bowl over a saucepan of simmering water. (Never melt chocolate over direct heat as it will lose flavor.)

In large bowl, beat cream cheese until fluffy. Beat in milk until smooth.

Add melted chips and remaining ingredients.

Pour into prepared crust.Bake about 65 minutes, until center is set.
