Irish Coffee Recipe

Here's an easy Irish Coffee Recipe to top off your St. Patrick's Day meal, plus a variation for an Irish Coffee cooler for those summer evenings.

Ingredients

  • 6 oz. hot brewed coffee
  • 1 t brown sugar
  • 1 oz. Irish whisky
  • 1/2 oz. Baileys Irish cream
  • Heavy cream

Method

Combine the coffee and sugar. Stir until sugar is totally dissolved.

Add whisky and Irish cream and stir to blend.

Hold a tsp upside down and pour cream over the spoon into the coffe. This makes the cream float on top.

Serves 1.

Variations

Irish Coffee Cooler

Place 2/3 cup of Irish coffee into a blender. Add 1 tsp sugar, 1/3 cup Irish coffee creamer and 3 ice cubes. Blend to crush the ice and make the drink frothy. Pour into a glass and top with 1 Tbsp of sweetened whipped cream.
