Lamb Chops

Lamb Chops cooked in a crock pot aren't very common because they are normally quickly cooked. This recipe adds orange sauce and the finished effect is a truly magnificent dish that you'll be proud to serve to anybody.

Ingredients

  • 8 lamb rib chops
  • 2 Tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup orange juice (fresh is best)
  • 2 Tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 Tbsp cornstarch (corn flour)
  • 1 tsp grated orange peel

Method

In skillet, brown chops in vegetable oil; drain well.

Thoroughly combine orange juice, honey, salt, cornstarch and grated orange peel.

Brush browned chops with orange mixture and place in slow cooker.

Cover and cook on Low 8 hours, or on High 4 hours if you're in a hurry.
