Rhubarb Crisp (sometimes called rhubard crumble) has a tangy fresh taste, but is often overlooked when selecting a dessert recipe. Discover for yourself how tasty such a simple dish can be. Submitted by David McCarthy, Australia
Mix together the rhubarb, sugar, and egg. Place in 9 inch square casserole dish.
Combine the butter, brown sugar and flour to a bread crumb consistency. Sprinkle over the rhubarb mixture.
Bake in a 350F (175C) oven for 30 minutes.
Great served fresh from the oven or when it has cooled. Serve with cream, ice cream or custard.
