Saucy Pepper Egg Sandwich

Try out this saucy pepper egg sandwich for your brunch or light dinner. It's easy and nutritious. Submitted by Nabeela Aboobacker, India


  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp ground pepper
  • salt to taste
  • 4 Tbsp tomato sauce
  • 1 Tbsp oil
  • bread
  • Optional: raw onions,lettuce,cheese


Break the eggs into a bowl. Add pepper powder and salt. Stir well with a fork.

Heat a frying pan on medium setting or flame. When the pan is hot, add oil.

Add the egg mix to the pan and scramble well over a low flame or setting.

When the egg is scrambled into tiny pieces, add tomato sauce and sauté for 2 minutes more.

Remove from heat.

Make a sandwich with the eggs. Add some raw onions, lettuce, cheese, etc. as fillers.

Serve with a cup of tea and relax.
