This lightly baked Fruit Casserole is a wonderful addition to any holiday meal. Top with cherries and whipped cream for a healthy dish that tastes decadent.
Ingredients
- 6 bananas, peeled and cut in half lengthwise
- 1/2 cup Mandarin orange sections
- 1 Tbsp brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp of orange juice
- 2 Tbsp of lemon juice
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350F degrees.
Lightly coat a 9×13 casserole dish with non-stick cooking spray.
Layer the banana slices in the bottom of the dish.
Arrange orange slices over the bananas.
Sprinkle brown sugar over the fruit.
Combine orange and lemon juices in a small bowl. Blend well.
Pour juice blend over the sugared fruit.
Bake for 30 minutes.
The juice from the Mandarin oranges can be used in place of regular orange juice.
